Zoey (fka. Darcy)

I have some pictures of our heartland pup Zoey, who we adopted during the pandemic. We have spent the fall road tripping across the US and taking her hiking every day- she is our perfect hiking dog and we feel lucky to have her in our lives. She has grown from a foster pup who was scared of her own shadow to this brave girl who will rock any hiking trail!

Bailey (fka. Fennek)

I wanted to let you know that Bailey is doing well. He’s mellowing out a bit with age and realizing he’s in his Furever home. He walks nicely on a leash and loves car rides and belly rubs. He’s always smiling. Don’t let his size fool you – he’s 67 pounds of pure muscle.

Buzz (fka. Shep)

Hello
I wanted to let you know that this year we are celebrating our 10-year anniversary with Buzz. We adopted Buzz, also know as Mr. B, Little B, Boogie, and various other nicknames, in May of 2010. We’ve never been quite able to figure out what breeds he is (Sheltie, Corgi, terrier?), but we do know that he is such a good boy! He is cute, but can be stubborn, and thinks he is a much larger dog than he actually is.

Joey

We wanted to share some pix of our sweet Joey who we adopted in January. He settled into our home quickly and he is such a sweet, crazy and fun loving boy. We love him so much and we are so glad he is a forever part of our family. Thank you for all you do!

Oma

Just wanted to check in and let you know that Oma is doing awesome! She’s really settled in and is so attached to me and the kids. She’s a pleasure to have around, and is just the right mix of energy and chill. She surprised my daughter the other night by hopping on her bed to sleep with her! We didn’t think she could make that jump, and she had slept in her room a dozen or so times before that without even attempting it. And in one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen, she sat with my daughter on the couch for 1/2 of a TV show, then got up, walked to the other side of the couch, and cuddled with my son for the second half of the show!

Thanks again for facilitating Oma’s adoption and saving her precious self from some terrible fate. Enjoy the pics attached!

Adopt

When you adopt from a no-kill shelter, you save two lives. The animal you adopt and the one that replaces him.
