Jack (fka. Chet)

Hello! Back in 2006 I adopted Jack (fka Chet). For the last 12 years he has been a major part of my life. As I was just an adult when I adopted him, we have literally grown up together. When I decided to move away to attend college there was no question that he was coming with me. For two years we lived in Southern Missouri, right by the Mississippi River.

He just turned 14 years old in August, but he still acts like a puppy. This year alone we’ve done a few 5k walks for charity, been on a riverboat cruise on the Chicago river, and attended the Dog Days game put on by the Chicago White Sox. He goes to day care three days a week where he still keeps up with the younger pups. He even has his own Instagram (well, he technically shares it with his kitty siblings) – beanie_n_beezy.

Thank you for giving me my best friend.

Zoe (fka. Flurries)

Attached are a few pics of (now) Zoe. She has adjusted well and is now comfortable throughout the entire house. Although she still sticks towards her and my daughter’s room most of the time. While still not thrilled with our dog, she has no problem being around him as long as he gives her some space. Our male cat and her are beginning to become playful and spend lots of time being near each other while they figure each other out.
We are so happy that we added Zoe to our family. She is such a sweetheart and we all love her.
Sincerely, Jen

Junior

Junior was adopted 1 year ago and has become a great member of the family. He actually has become a snowbird and loves his car rides to Florida and his playtimes in the doggie park. As he is heading south for the winter he wishes everyone a happy holiday and a healthy new year!

Ivy (fka. Alchemy)

Everything is going great! We renamed her Ivy as it was a little shorter 🙂 She seems super happy and has been warming up to us wonderfully. She is using her litterbox perfectly & loves to take naps on our windowsill & top of the fridge!

Best,
Kat

Cleo (fka. Mallie)

It’s been about 4 months now since I adopted Mallie (who is now Cleo). And just wanted you all to know how in love I am with her! She’s the best kitty in the world! At first adjusting was hard. There was scratching and biting but I knew If I stayed patient and continued to show and teach love… she’d come around. And she is beginning to! It’s so amazing to see her get more comfortable with me. She has been extremely loving over the past few weeks, laying next to me in bed, slowly coming on to my lap feeling me out, I’ll wake up with her sitting on the pillow next to me! She brings me so much joy and I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures with you. Thank you!

Sarah

Putty

Putty has been doing great. He has been getting less and less anxious throughout the months, and he’s doing well with the cats. He is such a sweet boy and absolutely loves to play with every single dog he sees. He is getting more comfortable little by little with people. But his absolute favorite place is up on my bed next to me every day all day and night.
