Charles (fka. Prince Charming)

Hello!

As we approach our fifth Christmas together, I’m happy to check in and say that Charles, the dog formerly known as Prince (Charming) has become such an important and integral part of our little family.

We have come through skunkings and backyard escapes (he went to hang out with his girlfriend up the block), but also long road trips and backyard BBQs. He even over came his cat aggression to be a great big brother to our newer addition, Bruce.

Coming up on 9, Charles is as handsome and spry as ever, though he enjoys being lazy and cozy. We absolutely cannot imagine our lives without him and can’t wait to see what new adventures await us together!

Koda (Kordel)

Hello!
Just a happy tail update from Koda. Since adopting Koda in October, (not to be dramatic) my life has seriously been changed! Koda has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I am a new travel nurse and recently moved to Charleston, South Carolina. Koda has been the absolute best adventure buddy exploring this new city. He loves long runs on the beach, going to new dog parks, never ending fetch, and endless amount of cuddling at home. There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t get stopped by strangers who want to meet this handsome boy. I’m so grateful to have gained this sweet, loving, best friend. Thanks for all that you do heartland!!
Love,
Koda and Sarah

Lulu and Lemon (fka Lynne and Lorena)

We adopted Lulu and Lemon November 12th 2019. They made themselves right at home as soon as we got them home. Their favorites things to do are napping on the couch, snuggling on our laps, playing with each other, and eating treats. They are the sweetest girls and their spunky personalities have really shown. We are so lucky to be able to call them a part of our family!

Roux (fka. Danni)

Hi! We adopted Roux about 2 months ago and are so happy to have her as a part of the family! She is the biggest snuggle bug and loves exploring on long walks. She will carry her rope with her everywhere, but she likes to keep all her toys close by so she has options. Roux makes friends with everyone she meets and loves big family gatherings with all the lovin’ she can handle. Thank you for all you do and bringing this sweetheart into our lives!

Brady (fka. Little Red)

We are pleased to share with you that on 01/13/2020, Brady earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate (no title because, although she’s pure Vizsla, she’s not AKC registered)! Her CGC classes were at Kanosak Canine Training in Maple Park, IL. She was the only rescue dog in the ring and, possibly, the only non-AKC dog! We think it’s hilarious that the ribbon is almost as big as her!

I also added a fun picture of her at Lena Brewery Company in Lena, IL. SUPER dog friendly brewery, highly recommend people stop in with their dogs! And a picture of our dog-friendly trip to Nashville in November!

Sincerely,

John, Michelle & Brady
