Just thought I’d send you guys an update on Gunnar(formerly Sebastian)! He is such a happy good boy and I’m so grateful for you guys. I can’t imagine life without him!

In just three short months, our sweet, little shy Millie has really come around. Her favorite things ever consist of weekly doggie park dates, long car rides, homemade turkey meatballs, and thorough belly rubs from mom n dad each night. She loves playing with her toys and has even made several furry friends in our apartment building. Adopting Millie has been our greatest blessing yet and we can’t thank heartland enough for saving this little angel.

Tulla (formerly Ta Da) is loving life in her furever home!!! She loves playing with her fur cousins, helping with the dishes, watching Pitbulls and Parolees, car rides, and getting dried off after taking a bath. She has the ability to brighten everyone’s day. I’m so happy she came into my life!!

Sunshine is doing great! She has adapted well to our family (2 other cats + dog). She has a great appetite and is very energetic when she is ready to play. She does have a sneeze that she hasn’t been able to shake but we’re monitoring it and will bring her into the vet if it doesn’t go away on its own soon (we are used to cats coming home from the shelter with some minor shelter colds and whatnot).

She was immediately comfortable with other cats and while they were hissing for the first week that has pretty much stopped and they have welcomed her to the family.

Our dog is in love with her but is really good about sitting still and letting her come and sniff him rather than him jumping around when she is near. She still gets nervous when he does romp around (he is a big smelly dog after all). She will now even walk past him when he is half blocking the doorway into the kitchen without too much trouble.

Her favorite activities are playing with our squeeky bird and mouse toys, playing with string, watching our fish and napping in the sun.

All in all we’re very happy as everyone is getting along better than expected.

Here are a few pictures of Maizy (I have tons). She is so wonderfully awesome I could just explode! She loves her new forever home and I couldn’t love her more if I gave birth to her.

Here’s an update on Calvin Klein & Zola. We’ve discovered Calvin absolutely loves his PetZoom brush. Yesterday, after he’d already come out for his wet food, he came back out just at the sight of the brush! He eats off my lap. Zola felt at home as soon as we brought her home. She immediately started exploring — and playing like a goofball.
