Kodah

Hello! We adopted Kodah from your shelter July 17, 2014. This is update long over due! We just wanted to thank Heartland for seeing the potential in this gentle soul and that he would make the perfect companion. Day in and day out Kodah is the highlight of our day. We love him so much and can’t imagine our lives without him. He is such a sweet, gentle dog and is always smiling. He’s been on many adventures like road trips, hiking and swimming and we try our best to give him the best life possible- quality food, socialization, physical and mental stimulation, and lots and lots of love and belly rubs. He is the best dog ever!!!!

Emily Eden

Emily Eden and her BFF Benjamin; still great friends after four years. Ben is a guinea pig. He’s seven and a half years old. They adore each other, and Emily likes to eat his hay, BTW, Emily is the best kitty anyone could ever ask for. Kind to all, NEVER scratches furniture, a good talker, and loving. Thank you or my little girl.

Denali and Dove

This is Heartland alumna kitty Denali, happily eating dinner. She is slowly becoming friends with her older sister, Dove, also a Heartland cat. My husband and I love both of them very much. (This pic was taken on Thanksgiving night, eating their first meal together). Thanks for all you do, Heartland Animal Shelter!

Sabrina

Sabrina was our Christmas gift to each other this year. She is the best of Christmas gifts!
We think she is pretty much there with the potty training! She now sleeps through the night from 10 p.m. to about 6 a.m.

I am attaching pictures for you. She brings us much joy and laughter (and swearing, haha).

Merry Christmas,
Scott and Debbie
