Mr. Rex

Heartland,

Merry Christmas! Rex is doing great and is a huge part of the family. Thank you!

Frenchie

Just a quick note to say Merry Christmas from Frenchie!

Frenchie is adapting well. She helped pick out what cookies to bake…

Supervised the baking to make sure all was being done properly…

And then took a well deserved rest after all the baking was done.

Thank you for all you do.

Merry Christmas!!
From Frenchie and her new family, Regina and Jeff.

Mimosas

Mimosas/Sunni is doing really well, she has adjusted to her new home and companion, Genji. They are getting along very well, cleaning each other and living rather vicariously.

John and I are very grateful for the smooth adoption process at Heartland! We really enjoy having Mimosas/Sunni as a new edition in our family.

Jennings

We moved from Illinois to Virginia in September. Jennings has adjusted well to his new home. He loves the grass and it’s not as noisy as living in the city. Wishing everyone at Heartland a Merry Christmas.

Pinkee and Gunnier

Pinkee and Gunnier’s parents sent us this adorable set of photos detailing their daily activities.

Dottie and Grey (fka Sparkyy and Luckyy)

We’ve had Dottie and Grey (formerly Sparkyy and Luckyy) about a month and they are doing fantastic! They adapted really well to their new home. They are the most cuddliest, snuggliest, loving kitties ever! They sit by us and on us all the time and give the best nose boops! We cannot believe how lucky we are to have such great kitties!

Dottie discovered the window sills and loves to hop on them and look outside. Grey’s favorite spot is two nested cardboard boxes that he loves to jump in and out of. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, we find them sleeping next to each other just outside our bedroom, as if they are protecting us.

You can definitely tell they are brother and sister. Whenever they are laying next to us or whenever we hold them, they both do this thing where they turn their heads and look at us upside down. It is the cutest thing! Then we scratch their necks and they purr like crazy!

They both LOVE their “cat dancer” and mouse toys and we play with them every night. They eat really good and have never gone outside the litter box. They are such good kitties!

John and I say to each other every single day how lucky and blessed we are to have found these two. We fell in love with them at the shelter that day and we fall more and more in love with them every day. I can’t thank you enough for allowing us to choose these two sweeties. In fact, it was so hard to decide on new names because we kept calling them things like Love Bug, Snuggle Bear, Cuddle Bunny, Sweetie Pie, Baby Girl, Best Boy… etc! Ha!!!! 🙂

Thank you, again, and thank you for what you do for all the babies at your shelter. I attached two pictures, Grey (boy) is on the left and Dottie (girl) is on the right. We just LOVE them, and we’re pretty sure they love us too! 🙂

Sincerely,
Elizabeth and John Abs
