Link (fka Costello)

Hi! This is Magaly and Kevin sending you an update on how Costello is doing. So it has been little over a month and we could not be happier having Costello, now named Link (after a character in the Legends of Zelda game), in our lives! The day we adopted Link, no one in our immediate family knew Link was going to be in our lives. We wanted to make sure Link felt comfortable with us and his new home before we introduced him to new people. It did not take long for him to love his new home and make sure we knew which part of the couch was his! He is healthy and happy which is everything we could ask for. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him and his beautiful eyes, how could you not?! He is such a great addition to our lives and we are having fun adventures with him. We could not be more thankful to you Heartland!

Gold and Walter

Hi Heartland!

Gold and Walter are doing great! They were inseparable from the second we brought Walter home. They love playing, going for long walks, and cuddling together. They really are the perfect pair! We are so thankful to have them in our lives!

Thank you!
The Garvey family

Renata

Renata is doing great! She’s slowly getting comfortable in her new home. She begs for ear scratches and belly rubs and she’s even tried to chat with me a few times with a mellow meow.Thank you and the staff at Heartland for caring for such a loving cat.

With Love,
Nadine

Andy (fka Tharp)

Hi –
Just wanted to let you know how much we love Andy (formerly Tharp)! Everyone who meets him thinks he’s the sweetest dog ever, and we just adore him. He loves spending time in our yard – and on our couch, and on our laps!
Thanks for all you do,
The Gray Family

Ares (fka Spade)

We adopted Ares *Spade* 1 year ago today…since then he’s come into his own…loves being tucked in, snuggling with us while we read, getting fur all over our stuff, being a butthead to his brother and overall just being fabulous. He’s made a great addition to our little family.

Bear (fka Carmel)

Carmel, who is now Bear, easily caught on to her new name. She is the sweetest dog, even after I woke her from a nap for a picture lol. She fits in well and it feels as if we had her a lifetime. She is super playful and loves to run around. Little Bear is definitely not the shy pup we saw at the shelter. We love her so much.

Adopt

When you adopt from a no-kill shelter, you save two lives. The animal you adopt and the one that replaces him.
