Howard

A few years ago we we’re blessed with the opportunity to bring Howard home from Heartland. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we just wanted to share the attached image with you to show one of your many successful rescues. The toy was one of his Christmas presents that he immediately fell in love with and waits by the door for us to come out and play.

Thank you.
Ed & Bernie

Henry (fka. Ravi)

Henry is such a little sweetheart, he is just a doll, and he loves being around people! Henry especially loves stretching out. We are so happy to have him in our home!

Nikita (fka. Annmarie)

Thank you Heartland for giving us our beloved Kita! She is the sweetest kitty around and we feel like we hit the jackpot.

Zeek (fka. Sundance Kid)

Our pup Zeek, we adopted in 2009 (fka Sundance Kid) just turned 11!!

Ben (fka. Lil Man)

Hi Ben (formerly Lil man) is doing wonderfully! He is very happy and we discovered He is housebroken, and knows sit, stay, & shake a paw! He doesn’t bark in the house and sleeps well. We love him so much and he loves us up!! Thank you!

Frenchie

It’s hard to believe that it’s only been a year since Frenchie came into our lives. It seems like she has always been a member of our family. Frenchie is always finding new ways to surprise us. She’ll find new places to make herself comfortable…even though they don’t look very comfortable to us!

Frenchie is always eager to help out, unless it’s time to head to the gym. She just doesn’t quite understand how to use these contraptions…

And when I work from home, she’s always there to help. She makes sure that I know when it’s time to quit for the day – it’s Frenchie time!

She enjoys her life in our condo, but does miss seeing more of the outdoors. So, while she is not completely sold on the car ride, we do take her to Wisconsin with us during the summer. There she enjoys the close-up views of the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks!

It’s been wonderful watching Frenchie get more comfortable with her surroundings, and with us.

I can’t wait to see what adventures we will have in the future. She’s the Queen of our castle, and gets on her pedestal to remind us!

Thanks again for all you do, and most of all, for letting us bring Frenchie into our home.
