Willis has been a wonderful and beloved addition to our family. He is so sweet and playful and always full of energy. He is known in the neighborhood as the dog in the blue argyle sweater. His favorite things to do are play fetch, wrestle with his stuffed animal fox, try to chase real squirrels, cuddle, and make caves in blankets. He loves going on nature walks and playing with his boys.

Hi, Just sending an update – brother & sister Milo and Millie are now 11 years old this month. I adopted them 6 years ago when they were 5 years old and had been at Heartland for 9 months. They were just waiting for us! Millie loves to nap on a heating pad in the winter or snuggle with her brother Milo. They are the sweetest, most affectionate kitties and I’m lucky to be their mom. Thank you Heartland.

Giia (now named Charlie) is loving life in a Forever Home!

Elisha, now Luna (Lovegood, also goes by Lunafish/Lunietoons/Lunatic/Lunebug), is the sweetest little girl and we have been overjoyed to have her in our lives. She is quite a mischievous girl, but she loves her toys, going for walks, and cuddling under the covers at night. Her recent discovery is that she loves to look out the window and exercise her very powerful vocal cords. She’s very affectionate and her favorite place is a lap to sit on. We just love her and it’s definitely a “who rescued who” situation. Thank you, Heartland!! ❤️

Just wanted to email you some pics of Milo! He is in Ohio with me and we are loving life! He is a huge fan of his squeaky toys and balls! I am so obsessed with him and seriously can’t thank you enough for choosing me to love this unbelievable boy! Here are some pics of him from the past week! Hi all! This is Brewer (fka Onslow). He is the absolute best dog. He is so sweet and cuddly when it’s time to relax and funny and weird when it’s time to play. He took a trip to St. Louis and loved every second of new attention he got (which was a lot because of his irresistible extra neck skin). Every person he meets is his new best friend. We are so grateful for Heartland for saving such a loving boy. Even through his surgeries, he has always been the best boy we could ask for. Thank you for our best friend!
