Dog adoptions remain OPEN during regular hours!

Heartland is temporarily closed for cat adoptions so we can complete a full deep cleaning of our cat areas.

We are currently addressing ringworm, a fungal infection (similar to athlete’s foot) that spreads easily to other animals and humans. While treatable, it requires thorough cleaning — so we are deeply cleaning all cat rooms to keep everyone safe.

We expect to reopen for cat adoptions on January 22, but please check our social media for the latest news.

Cats are viewable anytime during PetSmart store hours.
A Heartland adoption staff member will be on-site for walk-in adoptions:
Thursday & Friday: 5–7 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12–4 PM
