Kitten season is here, and we’re celebrating with a fun way to support the tiniest members of our shelter community. Join us on Sunday, May 3, from 12–3 p.m. at Heartland Animal Shelter (586 Palwaukee Drive, Wheeling) for our “Nacho Average Kitten Shower.” Instead of gifts for people, we’re asking guests to bring an item from our kitten wish list to help care for the many kittens arriving every day. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some festive snacks, meet adorable kittens, and help us prepare for the busy kitten season ahead. We hope to see you there!
